Introduction

In December 2009, Bill Sharon was kind enough to host a fundraiser in his home on behalf of Forgotten Cats, Inc. Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to help get a few of the borough’s feral cats spayed & neutered (Trap, Neuter, Return or TNR) through Forgotten Cats.

$35 per cat covers spaying or neutering, rabies & distemper vaccinations, topical flea treatment & ear tipping. The tip of the left ear is cut off while the cat is sedated so the cat can be readily identified that it has already been spayed or neutered. Forgotten Cats will also treat any medical issues that are apparent.

We have someone who is willing to trap the cats & transportation to and from the Forgotten Cats clinic in Willow Grove which is being provided at no cost.

This is a bargain, as many of you know. However, we won’t even be touching the tip of the iceberg with the initial trapping which was started in March 2010.

There are many feral cat colonies throughout the Borough of Pottstown, and if we are to get the problem under control, we need to have additional funds with which to work. Donations can be made payable to Forgotten Cats, Inc. & mailed to Cat NAPS, PO Box 453, Gilbertsville, PA 19525.
